Chevrolet
Chevrolet is a name which stands out in the marketplace. Developing a huge variety of vehicles that suits diverse tastes and situations, Chevrolet has one motor vehicle in stock for most customers.
Chevrolevt was started by Louis Chevrolet and William Durant. Chevrolet, who was a race car driver and Durant, a former employe at General Motors, used their enthusiasm and obsession for cars and created a brand that is a houdehold name across the globe.
In November 1911, Chevrolet launched their first car which was fighting with the Ford Model T.
Later, the Classic Six, 6 cylinder engine, first appeared. The Classic Six was able to reach a speed of sixty five miles per hour, which was a considerable speed in a time when most people rode horse and carriage.
In 1913, Chevrolet came to use its well-known bowtie symbol.
In 1955 Chevrolet launched the small block V8 engine, and it is still today the most wellknown and loved engine produced by Chevrolet. It came in two different versions; the 165 HP with dual carburetors and 185 HP with four carburetors.
All the way from the beginning Chevrolet has produced fantastic cars such as Astro, Avalanche, Blazer and Optra. And let's not forget classic s such as Cavalier, Corvette, Impala and Malibu.
